PERKUMPULAN PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN PIJER (PODI PIJER PODI WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT ASSOCIATION)

The rural women’s development project began in 1983, initiated by research on the activities, poverty, and inequality faced by rural women in Karo Regency, Simalungun, and surrounding areas. Subsequently, the Pijer Podi Foundation was established based on Notarial Deed No. 13 by Raskami Sembiring, S.H., dated December 9, 1991. Later, based on Notarial Deed No. 1 by Bertha Sianipar, S.H., dated May 6, 2020, the Pijer Podi Foundation changed its name to the Pijer Podi Women’s Empowerment Association, abbreviated as YAPIDI. This change was legalized by the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number AHU-0013567.AH.01.07.YEAR 2020, dated January 22, 2021, regarding the Legalization of the Establishment of the Pijer Podi Women’s Empowerment Association.
