The 1st Fair and Gender-Equal Family Education session at CU Maju Bersama II, Betala Village, Deli Serdang, was held on July 26, 2024, attended by 50 members (25 married couples). The program began with an overview, followed by brainstorming, an analysis of the biological and sociological characteristics of women and men, and an in-depth understanding of gender equality, equity, and family dynamics. Participants were given “homework” as couples to identify the five forms of gender inequality, including real-life examples within their families. Special prizes await the top three winning couples at the 2nd and 3rd meetings.
